Grandmother's Thimble quilting when only the best will do! Your quilt will be quilted using the state-of-the-art Statler Stitcher longarm quilting machine.

Choose from over 800 designs that can be resized to fit your quilt. A variety of varigated and solid threads are available. Need a label? We can do that too with our commercial embroidery machine.

We use Quilters Dream Battings: Dream Cotton, Dream Blend, or Dream Poly (black batting available upon request).

Quilts will be finished in the order they are recieved. You can drop off or pick up your quilt during our normal business hours.

As you have come to expect from Grandmother's Thimble, your quilt will be carefully handled and professionally finished.

All over simple designs- price 0.012 cents per square inch.

All over complex designs- price 0.015 cents per square inch.

Borders & Sashing- can be different from your all over design for $10.00 extra.

Custom Quilting- 0.020 cents per square inch.

Sample of how to calculate the price:

Simple design: 45 x 60 quilt
2700 square inches x 0.012= $32.40

Complex design: 45 x 60 quilt
2700 square inches x 0.015= $40.50

Quilt preparation service available for $30.00 per hour. This includes ironing, snipping of threads, sewing backing fabric, and preparing binding.

Quilt reparation requirements:

- Quilt must be ironed and clean (pre-washing not necessary)
- Threads must be clipped from top and bottom.
- All edges of quilt backing and top must be trimmed, even and square. Or let us know otherwise.
- Backing and batting must be a minimum of 6 inches larger than the quilt top.
